Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.70 Adds Le Mans Hypercars and New Races

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.70 is live with five new cars, including the Ferrari 499P, Porsche 963, Peugeot 9X8, BMW M Hybrid V8, and Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car.

Polyphony Digital has released Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.70, adding five new cars focused on modern endurance racing, five new World Circuits events, a new Café Extra Menu, and more.

Gran Turismo 7 is leaning hard into endurance racing with free Update 1.70, now available for players. Announced through PlayStation Blog and detailed on the official Gran Turismo site, the update adds five new cars, with the headline additions built around modern Le Mans Hypercar and prototype racing.

The new lineup includes the BMW M Hybrid V8 ’25, Ferrari 499P ’23, Peugeot 9X8 ’25, Porsche 963 ’24, and Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car (992). All five are listed as available through Brand Central, though players still need in-game credits or game progression to purchase vehicles.

Update 1.70 also adds five World Circuits events: Pickup Truck Race at Fisherman’s Ranch, Gr.1 Prototype Series events at Watkins Glen Long Course, Le Mans 24 Hours Racing Circuit, and Sardegna Road Track A, plus European FR Challenge 550 at Eiger Nordwand Reverse. Fisherman’s Ranch Full Course Reverse also gets Circuit Experience support.

The Café gets Extra Menu No. 54, “Collection: Hybrid Prototypes,” available at Collector Level 64 and above. Polyphony has also added new Café conversations, engine swaps for select cars at Collector Level 50, a Pikes Peak Scapes curation, Sport mode opening movie changes, and several smaller fixes.

What is not confirmed: PlayStation’s post does not announce new paid DLC pricing, new platforms, or a standalone expansion tied to this update.
